World War 2 was a bloody battle between two sides: the Allies, which included the United States, Russia and the United Kingdom, and the Axis, which included Germany, Japan and Italy. The two side fought, the Axis for world dominance and the Aliies to protect the world. The United States fought Japan on the Pacific front and Germany and Italy on the Atlantic front. The United Kingdom fought Germany and Italy on the Europian front. Russia fought all three to protect the Russian borders. While all the fighting ensued, Germany held another war on the Europian front: the pursuing of the Jewish religion, commonly known as the Holocaust. Approximatly 6 million Jewish people have died at the hands of the National German Social Workers' Party, or the Nazis. Japan also held another war in the Pacific that few people comprehend: the bitter jungle warfare with the United States. The veterans of World War 2 endured thru hardships, deserving uttermost respect.

This lineage project aims to do 3 things:

1. Raise awareness about the Holocaust

2. Educate people about the Pacific battles of World War 2

3. Honor our World War 2 veterans, which are but a precious few
